Tom Duggan grew up navigating the slick roots and granite trails of Maine on his mountain bike. After competing in cross-country races throughout high school, he took a break to enjoy riding for leisure. With a degree in Conservation Biology and Economics from St. Lawrence University, Tom moved to Jackson, WY, to pursue a Master's in Education at the University of Wyoming.
Once in the West, his participation in a first "enduro race" rekindled his passion for competitive riding. This led him to a decade of coaching and racing across gravity and endurance disciplines for middle and high school athletes at Gould Academy and for Jackson Hole Composite, a NICA (National Interscholastic Cycling Association) team.
This experience, combined with his love for education and the joy of biking, led to the creation of the Fault Line Riding Clinic (FLRC). The clinic aims to enhance a rider's understanding of mountain biking while fostering creativity, strength, and fluidity both on and off the trail.
